First elected in 2019, Philip is your Member of Parliament for Northumberland-Peterborough South! He sits as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada and is the Shadow Minister for National Revenue! As a Shadow Minister, Philip helped individuals across Canada navigate emergency pandemic programs, including the CERB. In February 2020, he tabled his Private Members Bill, C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying farming fuel). The bill aimed to provide relief to farmers from the crushing costs of the carbon tax. With support from the NDP, Bloc Quebecois and Green Party, Bill C-206 passed through the House of Commons!

Personal Life
Philip and his wife Natasha live on a small farm near Orono, Ontario, where they are currently raising their two children, Margaret and James.
Prior to representing Northumberland-Peterborough South, Philip obtained his Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, and his MBA from York University. He practised Tax Law before entering financial services, where he spent 10+ years.
